It all started with a giraffe.

Hi, I'm Federica and when I was little, they told me I was a giraffe (mostly because of my height).

I have worked as an art director and graphic designer. I have always been passionate about illustration, craftsmanship, crafting and unique things. At a certain point, giraffes really started to intrigue me. I observed them a little more, drawing them more and more, making me transport myself to a new world.

  • And the giraffes brought me here: an atelier, which has become my dream, the place where I feel best, where I can give shape to images, share my passion in workshops and courses dedicated to everyone. Actually, to everyone.

    That's how Hello Fred was born. And I hope it will bring a little (extra) color into your life, as it did into mine.

How a hello fred is born.

It all starts with an image. And inspiration comes from every experience. Then I do a lot of research and just as many tests: a sketch becomes a draft, which then becomes a pattern and finally takes shape (not always perfect, precisely because it is handmade) thanks to artisans and craftswomen who collaborate with Hello Fred. A rug, a tote-bag, a tablecloth: when you buy a Hello Fred, you support a world made of colors and manual skills, creativity and craftsmanship. In addition to enriching every space and every moment in which that product will live.
